New York August Meet Up Date?

Guys, I have always wanted to come to one of these (and many more) meet ups but found myself working on almost all the scheduled weekends lately. I am free this Aug 24 and would like to come.
 
Perhaps a beer or two. It is not such a big deal, but I'll be happy to be thinking about something else.
 
I have two adapters for a Sony a7 or Sony a7r. a CY-NEX for using Contax/Yashica (C/Y) lenses on the Sony, and an AI-NEX for using Nikon AI and pre-AI lenses on the Sony. If someone wants to bring a Sony, I will bring the adapters and a couple of lenses.
 
That'll be cool steve. I'am looking at going down thgat route myself sometime later this year. John has a A7r and I'am sure he'll have it with him
 
Might be a good idea to bring an SD card or two so you can take away an image of the yea-old-lightbulb -- If john is willing to try the adapters and lenses on his camera.

I signed up for Photoplus (free), and also got a ticket to see Martin Parr on the Friday ($15). That should be interesting, and may sell out soon (unless he is not that popular in the US).
 
I would like to see that Martin Parr event, but I don;t think I can take another day off of work.. Too many lately. I think he's popular but polarizing. You either love him or hate him.
