New York August Meet-Up

What's a good date for our regular Meet-Up at Puck Fair?

Damaso is around till the 15th of August.

It is probably easier for me on the Saturday, but both should be ok.

13 and 14 should work for me (although I might have a couple more friends visiting that weekend). I miss the NYC rff crowd, so I'll try to make it! 1-2pm would probably work better - but I don't want to condition the meet-up given that I'm not 100% sure to be there.

but for those looking for an event to shoot, may i suggest the Rumblers "Kustom Kills and Hot Rod Thrills" car show? it's taking place Sat. 8/20 under the BQE in Willamsburg. i've been a couple years back, and there's always great cars and people to shoot.

I happened to be there maybe 4-5 years ago and it was pretty cool. If I remember correctly there was no admission - but i got there sort of late.

event is free. there's also a Pre-show Fri. night that i assume is not free...

here's the info from the site:

There will be an awesome "Pre-Show" on the Friday night before the show (Aug. 19th) @ The Trash Bar - 256 Grand St., Brooklyn, NY (Between Driggs and Roebling).
The Pre Show will feature live music by:

- "Stigma"
- "Scrapers"
- . . . and "Chosen Ones"

As for the meet-up, the weekend of the 13th and 14th is probably a no-go for me. Ill be coming back from vacation that weekend. If its the 14th and I get home early enough I could make it, but thats probably a stretch.

Unless Damaso chimes in, we're not locked into the weekend of the 13th and 14th. I just presented it as a suggestion to start.

I'm a real slacker. Generally I only get my hair cut once a year. A while back I didn't get it cut for two years, and I donated my hair to this organization that makes wigs for kids undergoing chemo.
