Any date other than the 11th works for me....though I'd prefer the 25th.

I keep meaning to come to one of these, but no weekends are good for me this month, sadly.

Keith,
I think your vacation with your family will be better. I just came back from Savannah last week.

Park avenue was closed yesterday, did anyone take pictures in the tunnel it was the

We're all light!
Barring the usual calamities, I should be good for the 25th.

Bob,
I think Klaus shot the Park Ave. Tunnel. It is suppose to be closed the following two Saturdays for an art installation 7-11 AM.

Art installation that sounds interesting, I saw on TV they had some kind of light show
in there, I wonder what else they have planned.

Last Meet-Up was focused on prints. Some of us brought some large prints. I brought a borrowed 13x19 Piezography portfolio that featured different papers and inksets.
Generally about a dozen or so get together, but then again we have had meet-ups where it was like a flash mob (pretty close to 40 people). Also we tend to be gear centric, and at one meet-up we had 7 M9's including a chrome M9P. SLR's are welcome.

Cool! Is there a theme for the upcoming meet?
I don't have much gear to show, although if anyone wants to play around with a sigma dp2m, they are more than welcome. I'd be interested in seeing other folks expensive kits
No, there is not a theme. Just come, drink, and talk.

I quit my crappy job to concentrate on being the photographer I've always wanted to be. Or become.
That said, I'll make it to this meetup!
September is going to be my last month here. For a good while. I'm planning a move to the black and white side of the rainbow, complete with severe convective weather. There also happen to be a lot of jobs out there and the living is cheap.
See you all in a few Sundays! (With some gear to sell too.)

Phil,
Sounds like this August Meet-Up will be another one of those send-off parties. All I know is you'll be back: its just a matter of time. The world just isn't so big.

Cal, can you tolerate an interloper from Philly?
As fate decrees, we will be dropping my daughter off at NYU that day to start college. Film school at Tisch. I am very proud. Also depressed and traumatized .
SO, If it all possible, I would like to distract myself by talking about photography and meeting you nice guys. I would also like to start drinking early that day . ;-(
