New York August NYC Meet-Up

I say we plan to use the Rolliemarine for an exploration of Newtown Creek, Americas most polluted waterway.

Only problem is I need a hazmat diving suit to protect me from "Gone-or-ree-A infested water" (term coined by Andre Dos Santos).

My challenge is to figure out a way to bring my Thornton Pickard Mark III Hythe gun camera (same weight, shape, and size as the venerable Lewis machine gun) to one of the RFF meets without being arrested by the NYPD.

Nice toys at the meet yesterday...Linhof , M-240, Nikon D-600 w/ Summicron R mounted, 2 Monochroms, Nikon S2, Pentax medium format, the little SLR that Steve brought (Pentacon?), M8, M9-P, M6. I am just waiting for Klaus to break down and buy the 50 Summicrom Apo Asph.

If I'm lucky (or maybe not that is:D) I might get a chance to try one end of next month. If it doesn't perform better in street style shooting than my venerable Planar, I'm not gonna jump on it.

That's okay, we all have those senior moments sometimes, where am I
