Hello good people,
On Tuesday next week (2 Jun) I will be arriving first thing, bleary eyed into LAX from Sydney, staying near Century City where with luck a Rolleiflex and a Zuiko 28/2 will be waiting for me. Will have a little OM-2 and maybe the X-Pan.
From there I will probably head to Freestyle to purchase some film and then will have until the following Saturday (6th) to wander galleries, find some funky locations to shoot and generally relax into the timezone before heading to Canada for business.
It would be great if anyone would like to join me (and maybe even divulge some local shooter's secrets in return for some pretty dodgy Aussie humour)!
So if anyone has any suggestions or may have a bit of time up their sleeves and would enjoy pointing cameras at a few interesting things with me, I'd be delighted. If a few of us show interest, maybe we could join forces to wander to the Annenberg or somewhere similar as a group. I will have a car.
For the record, I am a 40-something yr old dad with an extensive range of terrible jokes and an ongoing desire to improve my shooting skills, to own and use old cameras and hopefully even take a decent shot one day!
