Well-known
Went to the (first?) Australian PMA in Melbourne yesterday. As expected, not much evidence of RF or film. Lots of people there, showing that photography is alive and well, even if most of them were trying out little silver matchboxes held at arm's length. Saw a ZI body and a few ZM lenses inside a locked case with a $48,000 digital Hasselblad, and the Leica distributors had a couple of M8s and M7s also in a locked case. One company had a big display of Ilford paper, both chemical and inkjet, but no evidence of Ilford film. Another had a display of those pretty little wooden boxes with 10 rolls of Rollei film. As for Kodak and Fuji....big stands but the theme was digital, digital, and digital.
