Auto Bellows Question?

I have the auto bellows II with the VisoFlex housing. However it doesn't seem to fit on my M7! The eyepiece rubs the top plate of the M7. Osterloh's book on Leica indicates it supposed to fit the M7. I am missing something? Thanks...
