This blog seems to touch a bit on something I've wondered about over the years regarding photoraphy. I'm not of one mind about this (and I've been accused of worse), but I thought I'd throw it out here as food (not poison, hopingly) regarding technology and sensibility, even though the subject at hand is four-wheeled in nature.

(My choice these days is two-wheeled, with pedals, but rather fancy nonetheless.)

Camera tracks backward and zooms out, the bone dry remains of a long deserted western town come in to view from the sides of the screen; wind blown sand and a knot of tumbleweed move right to left, the lens pans to follow then stops facing the darkened windows and doorway of the abandoned saloon, the swing doors squeak in the strengthening wind, the sign over the door proclaims “Off Topic” inside a lone voice says “ yes Barrett, you can see the same attitudes and prejudices of people round these parts………Barrett………BARRETT…………..
