For fixer I use Zonal Pro, but I'm not particular about which fixer I use. I use a hypo eliminator (forget the manufactuer... Sr. moment), and use Photo-Flo, but only because Photo-Flo is readily available locally and I have so much of it. But if I ran out, I'd probably go back to Edwal LFN.
The point about single sourceing is well taken, but I usually just order from a vendor that carries all the items I want/need.

On a positive note, it seems that Agfa chemistry is available from a company that purchased the chemistry division. name of A&O
So, Rodinal, Neutol, etc. is still available from original formula with Agfa on the box. Perhaps something like this will occur to Kodak stuff if/when Kodak closes down chemical production.

I was right. Kodak has sold its chemistry division to another company!

I don't know if this is good or bad news. Do you have a link to a news item? What company did they sell to?

I've been buying everything from Ilford for a few months now (film, chemical, paper). I want to support a company that is dedicated to traditional black and white photography, which I think is irreplaceable by digital.
I don't have any problem in my switch. Ilford has information on the Ilford equivalents for Agfa and Kodak products.
Here's the link.
