Availability of Zeiss Ikon in Hong Kong?

Hi guys,

Considering the M mount Zeiss Ikon. But can't seem to find it in Fortress, Broadway or the shops along Nathan Road and Mong Kong. I understand that it should be on sale there long time ago.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much they cost in Hong Kong now and where can I get a good deal there?

Contact Joseph Yao - joseph@yao.com. He is an excellent Leica, Zeiss, Voigtlander, Nikon and Canon dealer in Hong Kong. His shop is New Cameron Photo, but it's best to contact him first to discuss what you're interested in. I buy most of my Voigtlander gear from Joseph and recently purchased a ZM Planar from him. He provides excellent advice on his products, too.

or try Tin Cheung on Carnavorn Road which is very very close to Nathan Road, they have really good prices on rangefinder equipments and they carry almost all brands for rangefinder cameras. A zeiss ikon body should range around US $ 1300 over there.

Thanks guys for the good information. I got a brand new 'limited edition" silver ZI set with a leather presenation box for about US$1100 from Tin Cheung. It comes with one year international warranty. The black version does not come with the additional leather pouch.

Gosh, that's a good price. I'll be going there in slightly more than a weeks time, think I am gonna plonk in some money for this body. 😀
