Aside from all the technical merits of the Rioch camera, how would you compare the 400-800 ISO performance to the Fuji F20, F30 and F31d?
Since the GX100 apparently applise little in-camera noise reduction, how would ISO 400-800 shots compare after applying noise reduction via Photoshop (e.g. NoiseNinja)?

dpreview has an article about high iso/small sensor that has some samples of several cameras. they don't have the gx100, but they do have the GRD and the F31.

at higher iso, the fuji will almost certainly be better.

in P&S cameras nothing beats the High ISO of F11/F31/F50 finepix cameras!
They win hands down.
Noise Ninja has a profile specific for the F10/F11, so it even gets better!

The f31fd does a bit less in-camera sharpening than the F30, the F40 and F45 are about the same noise as the f31, the f50 is quite a bit noisier than the f30/f31 in my experience, but has a setting for ISO 6400 at low resolution.
One factor about noise with these digicams is that the warmer they get, the more noise in the images. Some uses rig up specific coolers for the above cameras to get the lowest possible noise.
