Avatar in data base

It seems like there's some confusion, and it takes a bit of time for
the db to catch up...

- My new Avatar shows with forum posts.

- Old Avatar shows with comments on pix.

Is somebody pushing the right buttons, or is this all
automated computer stuff?

You really do like to fiddle with avatars! ;D

I would love to see avatars moved from db (if that's possible), cause when I'm on dial-up it's obnoxious to wait them to load on every page request (browser can't put them in cache).

Those two parts of the site update avatars every few days so your posting avatar will become also your gallery avatar by early next week.
