My collection includes Billingham, Thinktank, Kata, Lowepro and Crumpler. I've given thought to the wonderfully lush Wotancraft bags, although they are crazy expensive and very heavy.
Lately, my most used bags are of the softer variety. The lighter the bag, the better I like it.

I use one of the dividers from a Billingham Hadley Pro, plus a couple of light Thinktank dividers, to create a padded base for the Crumpler, It is just about the perfect man bag / compact camera bag. There are at least two photographers online who have written about how they use the Crumpler, even though it's not a camera bag.
