Avoid member446885 on ebay

Strange... He seems to have disappeared from e-bay alltogether. Items removed, search for member by number doesn't find him...

He's still there and still selling out of focus items! 😛

I've purchased from him recently and all was as described. No problems at all.

I have purchased many times from him, just little nothing and ship to HK without any problem at the beginning. But last time I bought 2 old lens around $80 (which is real expensive on his list) never arrive. I push him and Rocky claims he shipped under surface by mistake even I paid air postage. Fine.... 90 days after deliver still never arrive. I wrote him and complained, he wired me back all the money believe it or not. I am still time to time to check on his stuff, as once a while he does offer some little nothing which is cheap and interesting. But agree this guy is poor on communications.

Hi Guys,
I have known Keith for several years and done many deals with him. I know that he sometimes does react to what he may consider a slight or strange reaction. Regardless of this I have always found him to be fair in all of the deals we have engaged in. I'm sure he has been told about his out of focus shots more times than he can remember, but with the volume of business that he transacts this does not seem to bother him.
Cheers,

I've bought 5 items from this guy and had 4 good deals and 1 bad one - I didnt complain, alhtough perhaps I should have, but life is too short to go to war over a $20 item and be flamed as an 'IDIOT!' or a 'LOSER' and receive neg feedback. As he likes to do.

I know that path would lead to me driving to Bournemouth and showing him how a dead rangefinder can be used as a suppository.

I don't buy from him anymore though. 😀

Just to follow-up on my experience: I received my refund from him, 3-something months after sale. My threat to leave him negative feedback has yielded payment within half a day, something that a dozen of polite emails couldn't do.

I purchased some filters and other accessories from him for several times before. The shipment were all as fast as expected. As I can remember he used Royal mail.

His quote for shipment is quite reasonable. He is in my favorate seller list of ebay.

Anyway, sad to hear that u had bad experience with him.

I bought a camera from him 7 weeks ago. It hasn't arrived yet, his communication is always limited to 3-4 words. He says he sent it but hasn't prooved it with a postal ref. number or something. It's too bad I've even paid for insurance and now no camera, no money. If I give him negative feedback it won't hurt him after 20000 transactions, but if he gives me one as a revenge it would hurt me as I have 10 only. What to do? Will my 78 dollars fly away?

Bought some filters and things on three occasions. First time everything went fine. Second shipment was all wrong. Third lot didn't turn up at all. No response despite several emails. Only after I left a negative did he issue a refund and requested I lift my negative feedback which I did. Not a great seller IMHO.

Had problems with him also. I left neutral feedback as the item was not as described. He left neg and then proposed to withdraw..... I didnt. I only regret that i didnt left net in the first place.

Just got my money back after a dozen emails and a phone call. I got his number from ebay resolutin center. But as I see his feedback he has a similar issue almost every day.🙁

I bought a 400m lens which was described as "optically perfect" in "semi working" condition. The post mark showed that it has only been sent after my second chase even though he claimed it had already been sent. The focus mechanism was competely broken and it the burred screws showed that it had been subject to an amateur repair. The rear element also had several lumps of dirt stuck to it.

I submitted a netural feedback and received retaliatory negative of "BEWARE SELLERS = BUYER LIES-BREAKS EBAY RULES AND IS BANNED FROM ALL AUCTIONS". This appears to be his standard response to any non-postive feedback. I wish eBay had some backbone when it comes to policing feedback.
