Just thought I'd drop this camera bag hack that i just came across. I'm currently using a Domke fxb supercompact for my Leica m2, 3 lenses, and a yashicamat. Anyway, the bag has next to no padding and space is at a premium. So I got some neoprene drink can coozies at a fourth of July party and these things are great for in-bag lens sleeves. They fit snug, but are easy to pull on and off most lens sizes. The neoprene is great padding, lowprofile, and the ones I have fold flat. I am also using them as little pull-out compartments in the bag--for hoods, filters, and caps that go together. Brought my bag on to a new level of organization in about 5 minutes. Best of all, they are about 40 cents a piece at any gas station (in the US). Give it a try.

I've been using those since I started using RF gear again in 2006. They are common at work-salesmen leave them. I have to advertize various trucking companies, etc. My wife's dentist had some in a cool camo pattern. They hold all of my RF lenses from 28mm M-Hexanon to Canon 135mm.

ps: Two of them end to end will cover a Canon VI-T.

They really are great for RF lenses. All of my lenses-28, 35, 50 (2), 75, 90 & 135 will fit.

They are an insulated sleeve to fit either a can or bottle of (typically) beer. Used to keep the beer colder longer. I think the name is a variation of "cozy" as in a tea cozy--those decorative things some folk put over their tea pots to keep them warmer longer.
Sounds like a good idea for lenses but I've never seen the point for beer; I don't usually have an issue with it sitting around long enough to get warm. 😀

They sell them at all the dollar stores, but for a bit more, also at the drugstores - walgreens, longs, rite-aid.

For some reason, they always seem to have obnoxious sayings on them, odd.

Another trick with the domke 5fxb is to use a curled drink cooler wrap, in it's compressed coiled state, as a support for keeping your M upright and not leaning in a 5fxb. I've never seen these sold, but they're common give-aways at trade shows, where I grab a bunch.
