B&W Arnside Knott from E-PL1

Playing with colour swaps and tints on an IR image (via a R25 filter), I was struck how good a B&W image can be, it's what attracted me to IR in the first place....Maybe I'll go back there to look for more enthusiasm.

After looking at this image for a while, I wondered if a crop to the main elements might improve the image :

Those are nice photos. Ever since the EPL1, sensors have just gotten worse.

Thanks for your comment.......so the old E-PL1 (and maybe the same sensor on the E-P2?) aren't bad sensors! Good fun trying old LTM lenses on it too.

I think the crop looks better. Nice scene! On my screen I'd like it brightened up a bit and maybe a touch contrast... Nice photo!

I guess my E-P1 has a great sensor then! 😉
