Any of you got any experience of getting B&W C41 film processed in Sydney, Australia? I'm paying a visit in January and won't have access to my usual processing kit, so I thought I'd try C41s. I favour Ilford, but I'm open to trying Kodak.
Any experience or views?

The films are widely available & I think most of the mini labs can make a good job of them. Of course there are always the dodgy ones whose prints come out green or magenta. There's a lab in the eastern suburbs called Charing Cross Photo & they will print on true B&W paper if you want. They have a mini lab machine that they tank up with B&W chems & run rolls of B&W paper through it. I've seen some good results from them. There's another lab called Platinum in Darlinghurst, not too far from the CBD & they do good quality work but they'd be printing on colour paper. Also on King St in the CBD is a mini lab called Photoland that does good work.
Best place to buy film in the CBD is Ted's on Pitt street.
In my experience most people in Sydney use the Kodak film so the labs are probably more used to printing that.
