Defacing a digital image by adding grain to try to make it look like film? That sounds really gross! Like trying to make chicken taste like venison. Back in my younger days, a lot of people considered grain an inherent defect of film and did all they could to try to minimize it or at least detract attention from it by clever compositional tricks. Adding grain to digital, how strange it seems!
