B&W from Luxor, Egypt

Just got back from Luxor a few weeks ago. A great collection of market pictures. I wished I had got your advice to hang around until folks got used to you before I left home. The economy is very bad right now as the tourist trade is way down. The result is that the hassle factor seems high. Never thought to venture to the local market. Particularly after the street experience in the tourist areas. . .but it makes sense that it might be more relaxed. Ah well . . next time.

Hi John. The first time when I was there I only visited the tourist area's... But I decided to go back and explore the city behind the tourist areas... And it's really different. With a lot of helpful and nice people instead of the hassle. It's really a big difference. So a good excuse for you to go back ;-)
