Today, via email I received a few samples of B&W film that was developed and scanned in Toronto. The issue is 320x212 pixels. I specifically request in my written instructions for 4Base 4.45 MB 1037 x 1536 3.5" x 5" . I do not know what the route cause is? Am I missing something here? I am happy with the development side, but 6 rolls all like this for the scan, I can barely see anything. 500x310 would have been better. I wonder if they would redo over? Probably have to argue for that. I doubt that if they would. :bang: I will try and ask. I am not happy!. :bang:

If you're allowed to specify the resolution for your scans, and you specified 1037 x 1536, then they didn't deliver what you ordered and you certainly should be entitled to a redo. At least give them a chance, as it may simply be a matter of someone making the wrong settings by mistake. Or they may have scanned them at the correct resolution but put the wrong files on your CD. If nothing else you're entitled to an explanation of what went wrong, so you can avoid the same situation in the future.

You said they are samples. Does this mean that they are sending you a CD with the scans aswell? If so, then the small one may be meant as a small preview of whats to come, and you will get full resolutions scans on the CD. Unless I misunderstood something. Small images are easier to send over email.
