Maybe not 40, but definitely a long time. I remember it snowing this much around 95-96. Great shots. I've got a whole bunch of rolls of the snow sitting waiting to be developed.

I'm just a couple stone's throws south over the water from Victoria. I think 2006 still had more snow for us in pure volume, but this winter was no slouch either.
