... because our only photo shop was out of tmax. i've got enough tmax left to go 1+9 for 2-3 rolls, then it is on to the the good ol' standy-by. i'm only shooting tri-x/ap 400 anyhow - except for a roll of hp5 i picked up today with the developer and fixer ...

Did you ask them about any T Max 100 film? That was Tom who brought it but me that handed it to you & said take it.😀

thanks, Greg! no, i didn't ask 'em about the 100tmax film but i know they carry it. that one roll of 100tmax was an eye opener. i think i'll shoot some more of it, but in an slr on tripod to really take advantage of its properties. i did buy that roll of hp5 to try ...

I love HP5+ and D-76 1:1, and get my best results with Ilford agitation—four inversions at the top of the minute for ten seconds.

Johnny, i use the paterson swirling stick to spin back and forth vigorously for 10 seconds ast the top of the minute. i have to wonder if inversions and swirling are close to the same ...

My agitation is moderate, but our lengths of agitation and rest are the same. I bet our results would be similar.
