I'm very excited to be heading back to Milan for work in a couple of weeks. Last time I was there, I had a large DSLR and several heavy lenses that felt very conspicuous and was tiring to carry around.
This time, I have my M6 with a CV 35 f/1.4 and a 15 f/4.5. I will also bring my Sony A7 with M-Mount adapter so that I can share lenses. I may rent a 90mm Summarit or a 75mm Voigtlander...but I'm up in the air about that.
I'm looking forward to experiencing Italy in the Fall (was February last time...brrrr!) and seeing this wonderful city again.

Good stuff. Look up the Navigli and Corso Como. Try a morning coffee in Caffe' Zucca in Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele, or an ice cream in Caffe' Bastianello in Via Borgogna.

Thanks...I think I'll also go by Colonne di San Lorenzo....there seemed to be lots of great interactions there last time.

Check out the Castello Sforzesco - the last time I was there they had a really neat traveling photo exhibit. Plus the building itself is cool and chock full of photo opportunities. If you haven't been before, go climb the stairs to the roof of the Duomo and get your requisite rooftop shots.

Thanks for the recommendation! I went to the Duomo last time, but did not get to go up top.

I am going to Milan in two weeks. Do you have any photos to show for inspiration?

I'm not sure these are much inspiration, but here are a few...hope you have a great time!

Do not miss the remains from the Roman age, and the Church of San Maurizio in Corso Magenta: a great fresco painting. When are you going to visit Milano? I may be there too.

Hello, would anyone happen to know a reputable business in Milan that can process, print/scan 120 film in e6 and/or c41?
Also, may I add Sant' Ambrogio as a favourite place of mine not previously mentioned above.

I have my stuff developed at Colore Due. www.coloredue.it. They develop on tuesdays. but they no longer do E6, this, since last year. I have my chrome done at a place where they send them to a lab or send them myself.

Well, I had a great trip. Not as much time in Milan as I had hoped, but I did take a day-trip to Venice as well. Still need to develop my Tri-X from Milan and Venice, but here are a couple of shots from the streets of Venice with my M6 on Fuji 400H.
I stopped to talk with this guy about his two dogs (I have two as well). We chatted a bit and I gave him some money for food. This is probably my favorite image of the day.

Here is a street performer as a golden statue along with a guy wearing a box around his neck to collect money for his upcoming wedding. I put a couple of Euro's in the box and he offered to kiss me in thanks...I politely declined.
