Bad frameline showing on the M2

I just bought a 50mm voigtlander M adapter for a screwmount summicron but it doesn't bring up the 50mm frameline. It just stays at the 35mm frameline position. Is it strange? I have a geguine leitz 35mm adapter and I think the cam is just the same as the japanese 50mm adapter. I'm confused 😕

Anyone had experience with voigtlanders ltm to M adapters? I think its pretty strange that this unmodified 50mm adapter brings the same frameline than a leitz 35mm adapter

Do you have the M2 with the preview lever? If so does that bring up the 50 lines? One od the reasons, my M3 went to CRR is that the frameline selector was jammed.

the cam that push the frameline lever is identical on both adapter. I think its weird. Ferider, if the difference in lengt is below 1 millimeter, then maybe there is a difference, or is it greater than that?

yes Kim, the preview lever works nicely no problem with any frame!
Also I can turn the leitz 35mm adapter with lens a little way more after the click and it brings up the 50mm and 90mm frameline. But when it clicks it is just right to bring exactly the 35mm frameline.

I got a 50mm CV adapter for the CV 75 and that brings up the right framelines on both the M6 and M3 with no problems. You have got me stumped.
