Olsen,
Has it ever been proven that the image that you're referring to (of Lee Harvey Oswald) was doctored or manipulated?
That is, was there an "outing" of the photographer/news agency and then, subsequent disdain for said photographer/news agency?
Or is that just the usual "conspiracy theory" stuff?

I love the JFK Conspiracy nutjobs, they would be amusing if not so pathetic...
Having read a few books on the subject, this photo has either been proved to be real or proved to be manipulated, depending on whose book you read. Check out a book called "Case Closed" for the non-conspiracy view.

Iranians are very crafty. They got rid of their old nemesis Saddam using American army, they have a Shiite government in power in Iraq, which is in their pocket, they have build a strong relationship with Russia which helps them in UN security council and off course they're close to building nuclear weapons because US is stuck in Iraq and Afghanistan and with no more public support for another war to able to stop them by force.
... And Israel would not even dare to attack Iran because that will push the gas prices to extreme heights, which neither McCain nor Obama's campaign would want to happen in this election year - not to mention sending the US economy to a severe recession and a probable depression.
I think the US is pretty much in twilight of its superpowerdom, and a lot of smart people in US already know that.
We must all get ready to welcome our new superpower overlord - China!

The interesting thing is that they released a version of the pic with out the fourth missile. So did they photoshop one in, or take one out
How many missiles did Saddam test today? I wonder what Iraq is going to do with the money they got from selling Saddam's yellow cake to the Canadian company that makes uranium for nuclear reactors? The only Iraqi bomb it seems we need to worry about is the fizziling out of their civil war.
Oswald wasn't killed because he was in on the conspiracy to assasinate Kennedy, he was killed because he had invented the 50mpg car, running on Brown's gas, cooking grease, and Bisquick. Come on people, he was killed in Texas, and where are all the oil companies.
Sometimes I think you could get some people to believe anything, as long as the voice-over is done by that guy who narrates Frontline.

Dave,
I don't know what you mean about 'the usual conspiracy theory', but political assassinations are happening. We have had some 20 of them only here in Europe since WWII. They are a fact of life.
Further...
There is passed no verdict in a US court of law in the JFK assassination. Only 'theories'. Which also is typical of political assassinations. Some believe that LHO did it alone, but the majority of the US population that lived to see the assassination of JFK believe that it was 'a conspiracy'. I share the view of that majority of Americans on this.
One circumstantial evidence is this stupid picture where LHO poses with a communist newspaper & guns. For what purpose?
Otherwise I would recommend that you read about the death bed confessions of E. Howard Hunt and Lindon B. johnson's misstress, Madeleine Duncan Brown. Link to interview here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1929769365635576415

That's pretty funny. You've made me wonder what a gallon of Bisquick costs...
As for me, I'll believe anything if Rod Serling does the voiceover.

This is the real thing, it was taken with the latest infrared satellite.
No photoshop was used, some skeptics noted that the man on the bottom right is very big compare to the rock, but this is because he was close to the satellite when this photograph was taken...

More so than Alex Jones, but in general, no, I don't.
And that also goes for Senator Arlen Spector and Former President Gerald Ford, who also served on the Warren Commision.

I have no idea who Alex Jones is. But I find Madeleine Duncan Brown's statement trustworthy. Most of what she says is confirmed by other sources long ago. - Guess I have read a few thousand pages on the issue and seen most of the TV documentary on the assassinations. That an important meeting happened at Murchinson just prior to the JFK assassination has been known for more than 40 years. Who attended has been listed by others too, but even most 'conspiracy buffs' havn't dared to believe that LBJ was in on it, at least not so deep. Before now, after this Madaleine Duncan Brown statement and the death bed confession of H. Howard Hunt. Others have come with similar statements, that LBJ was in on it, through the years, but have not been taken seriously. Typical is Jack Ruby, to name one.
