badass bag review

The completely unnecessary swearing made me laugh, but not being a pro photog I don't have issues finding a good bag to carry all my stuff so the review wasn't much of a help for me, but a funny read nonetheless.

Hmm..."badass", indeed, among a few other choice "b" and "f" words in the piece (hey, I can trash-talk too, but only over drinks). As I was scrolling along the page, I thought, ah, yes, yet another digi-Canon-toting, trash-talking, seen-it-done-it-skipped-the-t-shirt globe-trotter. Then...um, hey, what's that 803 doing tucked in the bag? Just like mine...Leicas? Two of 'em?

Okay, I still think he's talking a bit too much 'tude, but he does know his...stuff. On the other hand, his chiropractor must really love him.

Hmm, that sure aint ywenz in his avatar!

Perhaps I am going wrong by not refering to my camera bag as my little b*tch?

I think this statement sums up Chris very well indeed. He is very opinionated, but I can respect where his opinions originate - even if I don't always agree with them.

Weeks is using so many expletives, it makes me feel they almost cancel each other out. They stop having meaning, or their regular meaning anyway , they are 'innocent' fillers between gear talk.

Sometimes I find myself in agreement with him; sometimes he is justifiedly (or not) bitter; some other times he is funny; and sometimes I have no clue what he is talking about.

His photography is what makes it all worth it. Very passionate.

PS. That bag review was very good and it also made me laugh (esp. the irrelevant part about the John Cusack movie he watched). How often is that the case with reviews? Thanks for the link Ywenz.

You have to tote around a lot of crap to require one of these.
I guess if your shooting is worth anything to anyone other than yourself, you'd need all those crap..

It was interesting, at first, but it was just too effing full of effing.

I like Richard Pryor, but if he had become a camera bag reviewer, I don't know who would have taken him seriously.

I guess I have to effing get used to it and read it again. I'll try a little effing later.

This reminds me of when my favorite local wine shop started carrying Effen brand vodka. I smiled at the owner and asked how many people came in asking for "a bottle of Effen vodka...please", with a straight face. ;)

He could fit his s**t into a f***in' fanny pack, prolly (I think that means probably). :)
LOL - I'm sure more than a handful of "Brits" will find that even more hilarious. "fanny pack" is funny enough already.

Edit: RLMAOF, Barrett :)

I think some people in this island call it also a 'bum bag'. Not sure how 's that better. :D

I only discovered the across-the-pond definition of "fanny" a relative short time ago (from galfriend...I was laughing so hard she nearly had to call EMS for an oxygen mask).;)
