That timbuktu seems a lot like my Kata bag which also holds a 15 inch laptop but is too larger as a day to day for me.
Right now I am leaning more towards the lowepro as it seems to push most of the right buttons but I hear the water bottle pocket is really tight.
If by large u mean overall weight issue, then there are smaller Timbuktu messenger bags.. On other hand, mountain smith makes the lightest bags of the two I recommended. When i go on an all day hike, I use the mountin smith. The one I use doesn't match up with your requirements, so I did not up load pictures of it.

I ended up getting the Lowepro Event Messenger 150. It largely fit my needs as a day bag pretty well. Soon I will have to do a little write up about it after I use it a little more.

Heyo, been lurking aorund a bit lately. So busy nowadays with photo projects that I rarely have time to do much online anymore.
Good situation to be in!
I should have posted this two weeks ago, but for the sake of other people with the same needs, I use an Alchemy Goods "Pine" bag with Domke inserts. Very small, waterproof, fits the iPad and m4/3 stuff perfectly. Made out of recycled bike tires, so it has a distinctive look.
