Hello,

can someone recommend a bag for a nice travel setup consisting of a Leica-M with two smaller lenses, a Mamiya 7 with two lenses (say 80/43) and a Sony A7 with the 35mm / 2.8 ?

Should be possible to put each camera with a lens mounted into the bag.

Somehow my Dome F2 should be capable considering size, but I have no idea which compartments etc. to use for the above setup.

Would a Retrospective 7 or 10 fit ? Any other ideas ?

Thanks and regards,
Lars

Well, let's see . . . A Leica M with small lens can go into one of the cell, in the insert of your Domke F2. The other lens can go in another cell. The Mamiya 7 will fit in the main compartment, and its other lens into the insert. The A7 I guess will fit in one of the insert cells, depending on the lens. Have you tried this, since you have all these items?

I would forget the Retrospective bags for this application. The Domke is better.

Hello Rob,

Thanks for your idea. I tried it a few days back, but didn't fit the Leica and the Sony into the compartments of the inserts. Your answer motivated me to try again - and it does indeed fit.

With a back-to-back mounting adapter for M lenses, I could even fit two more lenses into the remaining compartment. Accessories like M-to-Nex adapter, filters, film etc. easily fit into the side and front pouched of the F2.

This makes a really nice travel outfit, not too heavy and a lot of options.

Regards,
Lars
