sold the leica 90 today and bought a cv 75/2.5...hoping the 75 is a better fit that a 90 on the rd1.
that 90 was sweet but too long and i was having difficulty framing properly with it. i hope the 75 will be easier to frame with.
so now my lens line up is 21/28/40/50/75...not sure if i will go for that one fast lens...and it all fits into my new domke f5xc...a bag that is bigger than i prefer normally. will have to see how that works out. i still have the 5xb for when i want to leave a few lenses home.
this kit feels comfortable and well suited to my interests and skill level...

Looking forward to seeing some results with the CV 75

The best camera is one that still works!
You decided not to get the new faster 75mm CV ... any reasons?

You mean you don't get free lenses from management in recognition of your efforts here?
I'd be questioning that!
Perhaps we could all chip in and buy you one?

not much is free in this life my friend...
i'm happy with the small size and 2.5 aperture...it won't be an oft used lens i would think.

It is a GREAT lens... give it some time on the RD1, Joe.

Nice! 75mm (or thereabouts) is one of my favourite focal lengths on the crop-sensor digital.

the 75 is working out better than i had thought...i can frame w/o much thought and get what i want...not so with the 90.
i also just bought a used 15 and am glad...i did a review of my shots with a 21 and with a 15 and i like more of the 15 images. the 40 still remains the perfect normal/everyday lens on the rd1.
