I acquired a nice little Baldessa 1b, everything works quite nicely (and strangely). But, one of the rangefinder mirrors has come unattached. I can see it rolling around, I'm sure a little Pliobond will do the trick to reattach it.

Has anyone advice on how to remove the top plate? There is only the selenium meter dial, a tiny screw near the front, and strap attachment bosses that look likely to be involved. Don't want to start removing things that don't need it, if I can avoid it. Picture attached.

And it comes off in a unit. Nice and easy, and access to clean the elements couldn't be simpler.

Thanks for coming back and posting that - if I ever need to get into mine, I know what to do!

They're fun little cameras, apparently very nice to use if you are left handed as well (I'm not, spouse is).
