Ah yes, a focus-by-dial camera. Very nicely made and a bit unique with its turn-key film advance (and also focus dial).

This one is in very nice condition.

Ooooooh, that's cute! And in stunning condition - I don't think I've ever seen one with the little nameplate still legible. I think the only drawback of these is that it's rather too easy to open the back when you don't intend to.

The other half assures me that it's very, very left-hander friendly. Dunno about that, as an obligate righty, but it's certainly nice to use. Only problem with mine is that I need to tape the film leader in as the little peg has worn away.

How do you find the lens? Mine has the Color-Westanar, which gives rather nice muted colour reproduction - not washed out, just subtly toned down - and is acceptably sharp.

I have just loaded it with some Delta 3200 set at ISO-3200. Once I've developed this film, I'll scan and post some shots. I looking forward to see the result. This particular specimen features the Color Baldinar, but I have no idea whether that's a good thing or a bad thing :)

It's cool to use my grandfather's camera, at least. I suppose there are some shots of me in our albums that were shot with this camera :)
