Balda baldix help

I just happily obtained a great baldix, my first roll of film is currently in the camera as I type this. Unfortunately I'm sure it is not going to come out as I want. I can't seem to figure out the winding on this guy. How many times am I suppose to turn the winding knob per image? I know there is a little window on the back, however the film I currently have in it (astia 100) does not just simply have frame numbers that show through the window.... I have read up a bit on it and it seems other badix's out there have a frame counter by the winder. I definitely do not have that option on this. Anyone else have this issue, and if so any tips on a getting a solid 12 frames per roll....

Without the frame counter, (the counter on both of my baldas are spotty anyway) you are down to the red window.
On my balda(s), you wind backward one turn then forward till it stops (1 turn) then repeat till the number on the film counter advances or the number in the red window can be seen.
Does your wind knob work like that, or do you just keep winding without reaching a stop?
