Hi,

I'm interested in this strap, and I have seen it in a natural medium brown color in various pictures online, however the company website does not seem to offer this color and fails to respond to email through their webform. Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Phil

finally got a reply; they uploaded the russet color option.

I`ve just bought one in that colour.
Very nicely made but a bit on the small side.

I have an AA one too and hoped that the Barton would be more generous .

I went ahead with the regular barton size (they also had it in extra long), but harbor similar concerns. I've some A&A silk straps which are a bit short. Still, the regular barton adds 15cm to the A&A, plus some give to the leather, so here's hoping.

Classic Brown is Russet and is 105cm. I've had mine a while and the edges of the braids are wearing lighter, not unattractive. For what it's worth the Leica Shop in Mayfair London liked it when I wore it on a visit, with a camera attached of course.
The braid does act as a shock absorber and the camera sits nicely with little "bounce" as a result.

You hit on part of my reason for wait for this color. I cannot imagine the black wearing to gray in any kind of pretty way. Here's hoping it goes with the A&A brown case.

I finally received my Barton Russet strap. I had avoided the Chocolate for fear that it would look too "painted". Russet looked more natural. In person, it is slightly less 'natural' than I'd hoped, but matches almost perfectly with my A&A Russet case. I mean almost identical. So, that was excellent luck! It seems sturdy, quite springy, and the length is good. Pleased.
