batterie issue for Olympus 35 SPn

Hello everyone, I just acquired a GIII-QL17 , and tried to use the Criscam (to adjust the voltage to 1.33V) adapter with SR44, but the test light does not come on. When I used the SR44 alone (with al foil), the test light came on , is that means the camera has been modified to use 1.55V SR44? (same thing happened to my Oly 35SPn, but using with Criscam adapter did gave a proper exposed outcome). Anyone has similar issue?

I see... if we use SR44, how much do we have to compensate on the ASA?

The Criscam adapter many times does not allow the test light to work. But the auto function/meter works fine.
