Italy now but originally from Buffalo, New York.
Has anyone worked with the B&L 75mm f/5.6 Telephoto uncoated lens made for the C2-C3? I understood that they should be adjusted to match the body but I have found that mine seems to be fine mounted on a C2.

Also, I am interested in the history of this lens but have found little to date except perhaps a lot of theories on its origin and reasons for such brief production run. Mine is ser. no. 01556.

If anyone is interested, here's the lens.

do you need a special mask or viewfinder to use a tele lens?
i have a 100mm but never did use it
(...by the way my C3's raingefinder is way off focus...)

Sorry for the delayed reply by my main computer was destroyed last week.

The answer is yes, there was a clip-on mask for the B&L lens which is even more rare than the lens. However, you can use another viewfinder of approx right focal length and some trial and error. Personally, I just guess and bracket the shots.

If your C3 needs adjustments or repair, I'd suggest you find a clean one from eBay for less than $25. I'd send you one of mine if the shipping here in Italy wasn't rather (outrageously) expensive.

Ciao.
