I recently acquired a Minolta Autocord and I am delighted with it. I purchased a bay 1 metal out for the taking lens and will also purchase a couple of color filters - yellow, orange or red.
Just like on an Hasselblad it should be possible to have the hood (outer thread) and a filter on (Inner thread).
Now what I am looking for are a couple of lens cap with a Bay 1 thread (i.e. like a filter but easier to get in and out). This would allow me to leave the hood on all the time but also have lens cap on. Search on eBay have not yield any result.
I have these for my 500CM and I think that it is the best filter/hood/cap system - a lot more convenient than just threaded.
