Not exactly, I use a B+W Uv filter with Multi coating since I am more or less always on or near the beach. My Nikkormat, circa 1971, hasbeen dropped in the ocean about 45 million times, well at least twice and all I ever did was wipe it off with the beach towel. I imagine the same with my Bessa.

I'm thinking that ziplock is NOT a good idea. When cameras get wet, you would want to dry them out quickly. A ziplock would hold the moisture in. I think.😉
