I've been away from the forum for a few years and wonder what is new in the world of Leica DRF photog? In particular I am wondering about:
1. How we are processing our raw files and in particular, are there any "easy" presets that approximate old film emulsions?
2. What progress has been made re the red shift on the M8?
3. What lenses are people using- are the Voightlander and Zeiss lenses still available and are there new lenses, especially wide to super wide angles?
4. Smart phone photography- especially the HTC EVO. How are we getting the most from these cameras?
For my part I've been sailing and doing the business thing. Here are two photos I shot while sailing from Hawaii to California this summer. These were shot on my M8 with 15mm Voightlander lens at (I think) f8. One shot was in the morning and the other in the evening at the spot on the earth that is furthest from any land in any direction- approx 1000 kn miles.
