been to the gallery lately?

Nice idea Joe...
I just took a short look to the members gallery after uploading some pictures... Yes, there are lots of fine pictures. A real pleasure...
Now it´s time for relax (and sleep), for me at least.
Thanks and have a nce day tomorrow.

might be a good time to look over some fine pics...and relax...and maybe think about why we really come together here at rff.

(besides for the gear)

peace my brothers...

Joe,
I check the new input daily (really !), still my main interest here. The gallery is a nice, quiet and peaceful place to rest exhausted from following a thread with 20.000 (!!!) hits and 500 contributions concerning some new SLR lenses ! 😀 😀 😀 Much to do about nothing 🙄
Beeing in the gallery this all is a very distant noise , like the noisy breathing of the city I can hear while sitting on the park bench 😉

Best,
Bertram

Bertam, you are right on it. I've tried reading 'that' thread sober, drunk, tired, first thing in the morning, and I still don't know what they're talking about. Who cares? Havn't these guys seen that Canadian documentary "The Corporation"? Don't they know that they are being hornswaggled? There's a sucker born every minute and 50 of them signed up for RFF. Can we delete them?

James (more wit in the morning for those that can wait)

PT: turns out this was my 200th post, big deal (machts nichts).

Joe,

Well after getting some good advice on "sizing" I was FINALLY able to get some pics up in the gallery.

Not necessarily "fine pics" - but hey, it's a start!

Hope to post many more as time goes on.

Oh, and I really enjoy viewing other RFF'er submissions. They provide a deep well for shooting ideas.

Always about opinions. Which isn't anything bad and must not lead to closed threads necessarily.
But some always want to explain why THEIR opinion is the right one. 🙄
A "right opinion" tho is a "contradictio in adjecto", which means turning something into the opposite. Opinions are the opposite of right or wrong. They are relative to the person, invented so to say to keep controverses and discussions civilized.. 😉
But they must be respected, otherwise this invention does not work !

We don't need opinions then, we can call somebody a "stupid a**hole " from the very beginning of the controverse on. But discussions won't get started this way.
What happens is that two parties throw merde on each othter and call the other side a bunch of a**holes. And that is what we know as "war", isn't it ?

We got the choice, respect or not respect opinions, that is the question, and there is no way in-between as some obviously think. 😉

Another daily gallery lurker here, Joe. Interesting to see the range of photography, I think we have almost everything covered except maybe sport and wildlife, but then this is a rangefinder forum 🙂

ok, now remember, THIS thread is about the gallery...

you mentioned the gallery as a good place to relax, and I was talking about from what probs we can relax there, hmm I think you are right, Joe, I branched off where no junction was, how easy it is to derail, sorry ! 😉

Maybe I am still strongly influenced by this monster thread of unseen dimensions,
one cannot deny that the Zeiss marketing knows very well how lens announcements must be made for (amateur) photogs ! 😀

I bet those would be very interesting and challenging RFF Monthly (or whatever it is now) Projects.

I stop by the gallery every once in a while. There are so many though. Hard to take it all in. There are some though that I bookmark for keeping track of.

Also, I need to weed out the least viewed images in my gallery and replace them with new ones that may be better received.

Or... keep the ones YOU like the best. I visit your gallery occasionally. There is plenty there to enjoy, IMO.
😎

Hhmmm, My last post sounds a little pretentious. I should say that I try to weed out stuff that does not work and train my eye better. There is allot of great work in the gallery and I benefit greatly by viewing most of the photogs here.
