Behavioral patterns of rangefinder users

Just a retired old fart here. I wear the cheapest Timex Expedition watch. I drive a Nissan Leaf all electric car. (I signed over the title to my Camery to my son with the understanding that if we need a distance car for a vacation we will just switch cars for that time.) Investments. The missus is the brains of outfit. Because of her quick witted action I only lost 5% of my portfolio in the 2008 crash, (long past restored back to 5~6% growth). I only dabble in photography and although I have a M4-2 my favorite camera is the original Olympus Pen VF camera with manual shutter, aperture and focus and a very nice projected bright frame viewfinder. With it's little 28mm f3.5 lens you just scale focus and don't even need a rangefinder.
 
When I wear a watch, it's a Skagen quartz watch; I just want it to be reliable. I hate all cars and just want one that won't break down. I wish I didn't have to own one. I maintain a couple of investment portfolios through the university where I work but have configured them for minimal fuss; I'm allergic to anything to do with money. I wish I had more money, but can't be bothered to do whatever is necessary to get some.

I do love Leicas, fountain pens, and old electric guitars and amplifiers, though!

I don't understand where this is coming from. I use a rangefinder camera, because it is a great technology.
 
Of course, this poll is not a rigorous study. Transmissions and retirement planning options are very different outside North America, so these responses are hard to interpret. Also, there is a fair amount of professional photographers here to inflate the self employed numbers.

But, I think the elevated numbers of mechanical watch wearers (>40%) and people not wearing a watch at all are interesting. This is definitely higher than in the general population.

Yes, I know and I live in NYC too. But a poll only allows 12 options here, so we have to make use of not checking a box as an option too.

Not owning a car is normal for urban dwellers and does not tell us anything about a preference for mechanical vs electronic technology. So it is not the same as not wearing a watch, which I think does tell us something.
 
I only have an electric watch because my son gave me the Apple Watch as a birthday gift. I'm actually quite pleased with its functionality that goes far beyond their advertisement.

On the employment question there is no option for retired although I suppose one could call that "self-employed." I pay myself nothing more than minimum wage, the rest of my income held in reserve just in case a camera or lens deal that speaks to comes around.
