No car, no watch, no investments, currently working part time for a large corporation. I try to avoid a life were I'm tied up to a place or a living situation for long. If i decide that I would like to travel for a year I would like to be able to leave within a week without having to worry about practical matters. I do like leica cameras because they are no more than they need to be.

Slacker, no car, no watch, iPhone, since 6 handled my own allowance.

I refused to learn to tell time when I was a kid. I use the clock on my stove to get to meetings and work. Nothing one can do about time once you leave your house.

I have a manual shift bike.

Me too... however a little tempted to buy an electric shift. 🙂

another one "off":
no watch. no car. no investments. big company employee.

maybe i should give in to the trend and abandon photography?

I also fail to fit the "type"

Electronic watch, no car, investments handled by the bank, work for the university (state employee).

I also shoot b&w only and I have a digital camera - which i had out today.

I drive a pick up with an automatic transmission.

My work truck has a 10 speed manual transmission.

I work for a small company.

I like pocket watches but sometimes wear a wristwatch(battery operated).

Too broke to make investments.

I just found this thread, and did the poll. Scary. It pegged me exactly. I guess we're a pack of predictable neo-Luddites.

Why can't I be a non-conformist like everybody else?

Cheers,
Dez

Prefer things analog, nostalgic and old. Things like mechanical watch appeal to me, the smell of a good ol' leather also does. FWIW, in a world of LED lights, I prefer the warm tint from an incandescent.

• Hand winding mechanical watch daily user
•*Own stick shift car only
• Own motorcycles (including 60s Bonnie with right-foot shifting)
• Startup company guy (though my current gig got bigger than 100 head count)
• I make my own investment decisions for the most part

No watch, hummer h3 automatic, but my favorite ride is my 49 Harley, kick start, foot clutch, suicide shift, newest camera I own is 1959 Rolleiflex. I have an iPhone with me all the time (mostly for when the Harley breaks down ) and snapshots.
