Hi All,

Here is a link to a monthly column by Alain Briot at The Luminous Landscape that touched on the definition of an artist. I do believe alot of us here struggle with this label and I do not even know whether I am one till I read this essay.

Art is a delicate concept nowadays, sometimes they say art when they really mean martketing...

So in fact there's a reason why seeing things with a perspective of let's say 50 or 100 years can help to distinguish what's art and what's fireworks...

As to how this applies to myself... I'm telling you something more in 100 years or so 😀

But an artist does need an audience. If there is no audience who will recognise the expression of the artist?
