Among my dad's collection is the Bell & Howell Dial, 35mm half -frame, a camera I had used many times.

I came across several racks of slides of half-frame Kodachromes which I can easily ascribe to the B&H Dial 35 as he had no other half-frames at this time.

I had forgotten how much fun this odd little spring motor drive camera was. As well as how sharp the Canon lens was and is.

I scanned the Kodachromes with Konica-Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II , easy scan menu, dust clean and grain settings.

The Library fountain had a gamma tweak.

These quick scans were done just to see if I remembered correctly how good this little camera is.

I've yet to do any serious scanning with the K-M Elite 5400 Elite II. These were scanned into a Mac-mini (ppc) and the quick gamma tweak to the fountain was done in Mac OS 10.4 preview.

The flickr postings aren't at the full scan resolution.
