Hi,
Hoppy is visiting Amsterdam and we scheduled a meeting on the 14th.
I'll try to make an interesting program. At least we'll make sure we will have plenty of time to shoot some pictures. We will meet around noon and will have dinner in the evening. Exact details will be announced later.
Anybody who wants to join us for a pleasant day is welcome. off course also people from outside the Benelux are very welcome.

We will meet at 13:00, 14th of October in the lobby of this hotel:http://www.palace-bb.nl/
Depending on the weather we will then decide what to do. Might be wandering through Amsterdam, take a boat tour. Or when the weather is bad we can visit the FOAM, huis Marseille etc.
Around 18:00 we will go for a beer in this place:http://www.cafegollem.nl/
Around 20:00 we will have dinnner and then also Philippe Orlent will join us.

14 oktober a.s. seems ok for me; I expect a small group on such a short notice. Maybe post the meet to APUG and Leica Forum too ? Not sure i can hold on untill 20:00h, but nice food , good company and discussing photogprahy seems quite nice.
The currrent Subotsky exposition in FOAM seems really interesting, and I have free entrance too

The paris-new york-shanghai exhibition at FOAM is excellent. Well worth a visit.

It is not very short notice. I posted this already a few weeks ago. Also on the LUG and the Leica forum.
If the weather is good I might go very early in the morning to catch the sunrise over the IJ.

Hi javabean, Hoppy is a Leica M shooter from the LUG. I live in Australia. I have only just joined RFF. It would be very fine to meet some RFF folks. I planned to visit the Netherlands just to meet up with like minded photographers that I have met through the LUG. I am stopping in Amsterdam on my way to Espana. If anyone knows Michiel you may like to join in. There will be Leicas and laughing and more than likely good beer.

Sadly I couldn't join.
My mother-in-law came over from Mongolia, and friends of ours invited us to a nice day to the Zaanse Schans and the beach at Zandvoort.
We had a good time. I hope y'all had one too.

Hi RML,
we had a great time and perfect weather. The zaanse schans must have been gorgeous also. We were with 8 people and have done quit some shooting, made a boat tour, drank Belgium beer and had a very nice dinner. Of course we talked a lot also. There were people from the RFF, LUG and LUF. Camera's were mostly leica's from M2 to M8, a Contax G2 and a Nikon slr.
So, really great and worth while.
I still have to post the pictures form last meeting in London so the ones from this meeting will probably be posted next summer.
