Just bought a Leica lens from Bergen County Camera. Came in the mail today. Anyway, the lens is much better than described and the lens also has original front and rear caps! I bought the lens on the phone, spoke to Paul. He told me they try to be conservative in their descriptions. Anyway, they e-mail me a used camera list once a week. I know I'll buy from them again. Paaul must have been busy.....;-)
just got a Contax IIa BD w 50/2 Sonnar in exactly the condition as described. Paul actually emailed me a lot of pics so I would have a better decision base.
Contact can be slow, but well woth it.

Ciao

I've also had great luck with Paul. Bought a Nikon RF lens from him several months ago and it was much better than described. Also called him about a mint tele-elmar last week. He steered me clear of the mint job because it would need a CLA. It was a "looker", not a user.

That's great to know. There are some good ones out there, but he seems to be in the best of the best group.

I had a world class moment with an ebay seller last month. I bid on a F2A w/ 28/3.5 (did not want the lens) and got it for a good price. His wife mixed up my box with one going to Japan (a Black F2 Photomic in a bit worse condition). He emailed right away and offered to give me a full refund and I could keep the camera! I got the wrong camera for free, which by the way ended up being in better condition than discribed and is quite usable. While I would have prefered a DP-11, the DP-1 is fine.

About Bergen Camera... Paul is a very honest person and it's always a pleasure to deal with. I haven't bought anything from him, but I was close on a couple of ocassions.

I'll be stopping in after work today to pick up some slides. If you're ever in the store, stop by the Leica counter. If Rob P. is there, he'll take the time to talk to you. He's very Leica-ble.
