it's just hide and seek
Last weekend I spent in Berlin, and used a Jupiter-9 on my Leica M4. Please tell me what you think about those two photos here:
Both on Tri-X @400, D76 1+1, scanned on Epson V500.

Hi, I'm not sure about the composition in the first one. The photograph seems to be of nothing in particular. And IMHO the second one would benefit from a couple of crops: On the right hand side to lose the boot and black bump above it, and at the top just below the feet of the people walking, you'd lose the cars, which I think are a distraction, and leave in the mysterious reflections of the pedestrians.
Having just been on location in Berlin, I'm sure you'll find todays Slate Magnum selection interesting: http://todayspictures.slate.com/20090305/
Cheers,

First one is a bit boring, nothing is interesting or in focus
Second one, I'll repeat what the other poster said.. It would benefit from a change of height either way. 1) Get higher, and cut out the legs of the street walkers, they're distracting, 2) get lower and include the street walkers as part of the comp. Either way, get rid of the foot in the bottom right.
