Super cool! That simply proves that a creative vision is key in getting a good photograph. By the way I am back in town and I guess I will check into the Hackescher Hof on 11:00 Sunday, so if anyone is in the mood - despite that time - simply join in. Otherwise I will simply enjoy a coffee and a Croissant for breakfast and go to the flea market at Mauerpark afterwards.

Hey folks,

I'll be in Berlin from April 30th until May 5th.

Will spend some days at Lems place, and some in a hostel. Will do quite some walkabout and street shooting, and visit a camera shop or two while at it.

Simon, hate to miss you yet again :( I'll save that beer for the next time we meet! If only I had some money to burn this summer, I'd come visit you in Istanbul!

Any of you guys know a cheap place to spend two nights? I got most of the trip covered, but need to book for April 30th and May 1st, preferably hostel prices :eek:

I've never stayed in a hotel/hostel in Berlin myself, but relatives of ours stayed here and said it's ok (actually very good for the price):

It's close to the subway (7min from the Alexanderplatz)
 
There are several Motel One in good locations at about EUR 70 per night. Modern design and clean. Feels like it could be a much more expensive hotel. I've stayed at the one near Alexanderplatz and the one at Bahnhof Zoo.

Leaving in 9 hours, so need to get me some pillow time.

Arriving around 15:00 hrs at Berlin Central Station tomorrow! YAY!

Berlin summer is just sooooo awesome these days, it makes me want to enjoy a beer out in the sunshine (not really).

How about a pub this Friday?

Also, if anyone is looking for a new roommate, perhaps a blond with shoulder length curly hair who's also into photography is the person for you?Then drop me a line! Rental period would be from June 1st through August.
