just his most famous due to Marilyn Monroe's demise shortly thereafter

He was one of the photographers whose work first inspired me back in the 1970s. A dedicated pro and perfectionist. Loved his Smirnoff campaign and the Lolita sunglasses shot (as well as the celebrity portraits, including Marilyn). He also used alternative printing processes like screen printing, creating his own colour separations, screens and prints of the Marilyn series.
