I picked up a Beseler 23C with a 23dga dichroic head in excellent condition, that came with both the diffuser and condenser assemblies. Because I can't find a manual for it, a couple of questions:

1) My understanding is that the diffuser assembly (which is simply the black tube with a translucent plastic disc on each end) is used with the hex-cell light diffuser above the diffuser assembly - is this correct? Are there any other parts or baffles in the diffuser assembly? The reason I ask is that exposure times are very long with this arrangement (almost a minute).

2) Is a conic light integrator needed to use a condenser assembly on the 23dga (which I saw in the instructions for a Beseler Dual Dischro head)?

Thanks, I believe the Photography Forums link answers my questions. From a couple of ebay listings, I see the part number for the light integrator for the 23C is #8183.

My question was on a 23C, not 23CII, which is different. I actually have a 23CII also, which I use with anormal head in condenser mode for black and white and I already have the manual. I'm not looking for a light integrator for the 23CII but I can't tell if the part number is the same.
