Anybody have any connections at Beseler? I've been waiting since March for a backordered easel (replacement for one that arrived damaged), and finally got tired of Calumet giving me the chuckle and "I don't know" when I call about it. I gave a call to Beseler and got someone who had no idea what an easel was "an eagle or easel?" (not kidding). Who took down my phone number and said someone would call back. Seemed like an eighth grader looking for a pencil.
I now doubt I'll ever get a replacement, are they still manufacturing?

Well, speaking to a manager at Calumet has gotten me my first call back! Beseler has moved, and has taken a very long time in doing so. He couldn't get a time frame, but I'm looking at 2 months minimum was his guess. Yikes.

Look for a used enlarger. Beseler models are pretty common, and while you wait for your (I am assuming) free replacement, you could be using the thing.

I emailed them about a month ago looking for a 23C refurbishing kit...never heard back from them...I ordered it from Calumet...

I'm no fan of the Beseler enlargers 40oz- but the current easels are top notch.
I'll never trade my LPL 4500.
